Replace both the open thermostat and the main wiring harness, and verify the vent trim is installed
properly. After replacing the thermostat the oven will operate. However if the customer runs
another self clean the issue may occur again. Both The updated harness and verification of the vent
trim prevents this issue from occurring multiple times.
a. Replace all open thermostats. There are 4 thermostats on the double oven and 2
thermostats on the single wall oven. Refer to page 3 table "Thermostats" of this document
for applicable part numbers.
b. Replace the main wiring harness. See table below for updated part #'s for each
model.
