The system has a number of key components that you will need to be familiar with before attempting to
use the system, these are:
·
The EC601, EC602 & EC651 Power Supply Unit (PSU) - a combined mains consumer unit
and 12V controller located in the bed box or upper locker.
·
The EC620 Control Panel (CP) - a remotely located user control panel used to turn circuits
on and off and to display battery, water tank and other system information. This panel uses
simple straightforward controls and reliable data communication to the PSU.
·
The PX300 Intelligent Battery charger 300W.
·
The C44 Road Light Fuse Box - This small unit, which is unique to caravans, is located in
the front bed box. The unit houses fuses for the road lighting circuits and supplies from the
tow vehicle, and also has connectors for the optional alarm system and Automatic Trailer
Control (ATC) unit.

Questions and answers
Heating not working on electric
The heating may not be working on the Sargent EC600 because the heating button on the EC600 unit needs to be turned on. Additionally, for the water heater to function, it must be activated either through the Truma display unit or the Swift Command unit, but the EC600 heating button must still be on. If these conditions are not met, the heating system will not operate correctly.

Display is showing every single segment. Cannot seem to reset. Lighting, water pump.seem to work OK.
The Sargent EC600 display showing every single segment may indicate a software crash. To reset it, turn off the PSU isolate switch to reboot the control panel. Wait 30 seconds, then turn the switch back on. Also, check with your dealer to ensure the system has the latest software update.

In my van I had travialed across the panel an shorted the panel put in a new control unit and unit still not swinging on above the door
The Sargent EC600 control unit above the door may not be functioning after installation due to one or more of the following reasons:
1. The software may have crashed—reboot the control panel by turning off the PSU isolate switch, waiting 30 seconds, then turning it back on.
2. No power supply—check for a 230V supply, ensure the charger is switched on, and verify the power button on the control panel is turned on.
3. Battery issues—the battery may be flat, disconnected, or have a blown fuse; recharge or replace the battery and check all fuses.
4. Equipment not connected—ensure the control unit is properly connected to the 12V supply.
5. A fuse may be blown—replace it with the correct value as per the fuse table.
6. Other system faults—if none of the above resolves the issue, a fault may require dealer assistance.
Check each of these points to diagnose the problem.

I have a sergant xp300 charger fitted to my swift but it doesn't seem to be charging my battery it has both green light on consumer box and green on end of charger but doesn't seem to charge batter
The Sargent EC600 charger may not be charging the battery despite showing green lights because the solar regulator unit might be faulty. In the context, the user observes that although the solar panel appears to be working (panel output flashing), the charge status LED on the regulator flashes quickly and goes off, suggesting it is not maintaining a proper charge. The user suspects the regulator may be the cause of the problem.
