4 MAINTENANCE

Cleaning

For daily cleaning the product can be cleaned with wet-wipes with anti-bacterial or cleaned
with hot water with a small quantity of household cleaning agent.
NOTE: Strong chemicals and other abrasive agents must not be used.
NOTE: If the chair is used for more than one person, the chair MUST be thoroughly cleaned
between users.
Removing / Set-on the seat
For a thorough cleaning, the seat can be removed, so that it is possible to clean the seat and
the frame.
1)
Pull up the front of the seat and remove it.
2)
Angle and slide the seat slightly towards the back to put it on again.
3)
Press the seat into place. The seat is placed correct when it clicks.

The chair tolerates to be cleaned in an automatic washer, requirement the

electrical parts are not flushed directly; it may damage the battery and the
control box.
Leave the battery in the control box during cleaning, because the battery
helps to prevent ingression of water.
If the chair is used as a toilet chair, ensure that the bedpan is correctly placed under the seat.
The bedpan and lid can be cleaned in a bedpan washer or according to relevant regulations.
Lubrication:
The piston of the actuator should be lubricated once a month with Vaseline or thin oil.

Storage

The product is intended for indoor use under normal temperatures +0 to +50 C° and a
relative humidity 40-90%.
