I **** having trouble setting the standby time interval on my 6000cdt. When I hold the standby button for three seconds I can only see a numerical code, or 5T 20 mins. I've tried various ways to scroll through to find the never option but failed. The manual doesn't mention much at all.

You can set the standby time interval to "never" on your Audiolab 6000CDT by adjusting the auto standby settings. Your choices are 20 minutes (default), 1 hour, or never (always on). To change this setting, refer to the instructions on page 6 under the heading "6: Operation" in the manual. It should take only a couple of minutes to adjust.

@Mr. Anderson Thanks, I've managed to do it, more or less by accident. The manual does not describe how to scroll through the options. I tried all sorts but could only get as far as 20 mins. Then 'never' appeared out of nowhere, and I've left it set on that.
