If your memory card is

already unmounted, you can use
the following steps to format it.
Touch Applications tab
Settings > SD card & phone
storage > Format SD Card.
WARNING
or remove the memory card
while the phone is on. Otherwise
you may damage the memory
card and your phone, and the
data stored on the memory card
may be corrupted. To remove
the memory card safely, select
Applications > Settings >
SD card&phone storage >
Unmount SD card.
