PC recognizes your device when
you connect it, and automatically
transfers the synchronization
settings you specified on your
device.
You may be able to synchronize
your device with Exchange Server
through your company or wireless
service provider. If you plan to do
so, obtain e-mail address, Exchange
Server address, user name,
password, and domain name from
your administrator before starting
the Sync Setup Wizard.

Setting up Windows Vista™

Microsoft Windows Mobile® Device
Center is the replacement for
Microsoft® ActiveSync® on Windows
Vista™.
NOTE: Some versions of Windows
Vista that come with Windows
Mobile Device Center are already
installed. If Windows Mobile Device
Center is not available on your
Windows Vista computer, you can
install it from the Getting Started
Disc that came with your device.
Set up synchronization in
Windows Mobile Device
Center
When you connect your device to
your PC and start Windows Mobile
Device Center for the first time,
you are asked to create a Windows
Mobile partnership with your
device. Follow the steps below to
create a partnership.
Connect your device to your PC.
Windows Mobile Device Center
configures itself and then opens.
On the license agreement screen,
click Accept.
