Listening to music with your Network
Walkman
Please insert the battery before use (see page 9).
Note
When using Network Walkman, be sure do disconnect it from the computer.

Connect the headphones.
to i jack

Start playback.
1 Press the Nx button.
z Tip
If your Network Walkman is not operated for 5
seconds while in stop mode, the display
automatically turns off.
When the normal playback mode is selected,
playback stops automatically after the last
song is played.

VOLUME
+/– button to
adjust the
volume.
HOLD switch
To use the headphones extension cord
to i jack

If playback does not start
Make sure that the HOLD switch is set to off
(page 25).
To stop playback
Press the Nx button.
To adjust the volume
The volume can be set in the Preset and Manual
mode (page 29 to 30).
Playback order of tracks/groups
(NW-E99 only)
The transferred tracks/groups playback as follows:
Tracks/groups transferred using SonicStage
software in the flash memory 1 t Tracks/groups
transferred using MP3 File Manager software in the
flash memory 1 t Tracks/groups transferred using
SonicStage software in the flash memory 2 t
Tracks/groups transferred using MP3 File Manager
software in the flash memory 2
