    Operating the mixer continuously provides maximum water circulation in your tank. Optional system controls are available from Kasco for mixer units. CertiSafe systems have a maximum operating depth of 50ft. Effective mixing can be achieved in deeper tanks with mounting at or above this depth.

    OPERATION MANUAL CERTISAFE™ TANK MIXER Parts Included Assembly Item Designation Part # Tank Cord grip 997210, 997211,997212 Penetration Cable support 997220,997221 Cord Grip Nut 997215, 997216 Suggested Tank Penetration Drill a 7/8” clearance hole located at suggested distance from your mounting option (see diagram). This is for the cord grip (A).
  • Page 6 OPERATION MANUAL CERTISAFE™ TANK MIXER Deburr both sides of the cord grip hole. Pass the o-ringed side of the cord grip (A) through the clearance hole from the tank exterior. Fit the cord grip nut (C) on the threads protruding into the tank (A).
  • Page 7 OPERATION MANUAL CERTISAFE™ TANK MIXER Feed power cable through the cable support (B). Continue to feed power cable through cord grip (A), and out of the tank. Continue until all excess cord length has been taken up, only leaving enough as not to put strain on the cable. Tighten top nut on cord grip to seal the power cable penetration Terminate power cable into exterior junction box.

    If you experience repeat interruptions, the equipment should be disconnected and removed. The power cord and unit (mixer) should be inspected for damage. If no damage is apparent, please contact your Kasco distributor or representative for further instruction. Observation The operating mixer should be monitored for any reduction or variation in performance.

    Seal replacement and oil change every 3-5 years will add reliability and longevity to the mixer. Seal replacement and all other repair services should be performed by Kasco Marine or a Kasco trained Authorized Repair Center. Please contact your Kasco Marine, Inc. distributor or representative for your nearest Authorized Repair Center.

    Any expedited shipping method for the return of the unit is at the customer’s expense. Kasco Marine will return units repaired under warranty at our expense via ground freight within the continental United States.
