  • Page 4 LOGIN eDriver Logs is a valuable tool for drivers to record their hours-of-service activity and demonstrate NOTE compliance with the law. eDriver Logs relies on accurate input of data and appropriate use by the driver. BLU starts up automatically with the truck’s ignition switch and displays the Login screen.
  • Page 5 DRIVER INTERVIEW PROCESS NOTE: If both drivers are logging in at the same time, eDriver Logs will complete the entire driver interview process for the first driver before continuing with the second driver. The driver interview process begins with the Trailer Information Entry screen.
  • Page 6 DRIVER INTERVIEW PROCESS 6. On the Team Driving Status Entry screen, Enter Co Driver Name, if applicable. Your current or last co-driver’s name will appear during the login process. Update if necessary. 7. Press the Next soft button to display the first of five Duty Status Change screens.
  • Page 7 DRIVER INTERVIEW PROCESS 8. Select the appropriate regulation. The second Duty Status Change screen is automatically displayed. 9. Select the appropriate duty status. The third Duty Status Change screen is automatically displayed. NOTE: If a driver is already in a Driving status this duty status option will not be displayed during the login process.
  • Page 8 DRIVER INTERVIEW PROCESS 11. Enter additional remarks, if necessary, and press the Next soft button to display the Confirmation screen. 12. Verify the information from the driver interview process and press the Done soft button to add the information to the driver’s daily log. To make corrections, press the Back button until you reach the applicable screen.
  • Page 9 On Duty and Driving status. This requires stop and movement threshold configurations to be set by your Safety Manager through the PeopleNet Fleet Manager. The automatic duty status changes are recorded from the start of each movement or stop event, not when the notification panel is displayed. The log entry for each duty status change includes the date, time, latitude/longitude, and distance from the nearest city.
  • Page 10 AUTOMATIC DUTY STATUS CHANGE DRIVING [ ON DUTY When in a driving status and the vehicle is stopped for a greater length of time than the stop threshold, a notification panel will appear with a message that the driver is about to enter the On Duty status.

  • Page 15 REVIEW 1/7/8 DAY LOG SHEETS The following steps apply equally to 7 Day and 8 Day log sheets. 1. Select eDriver Logs [ Review HOS [ 7 Day in the menu bar to display the 7 Day Graph screen. • The information under the header includes the 24-hour terminal start and time zone.

    ENTER CITATION This option allows you to enter citation information that will appear in your daily log. 1. Select eDriver Logs [ Updates [ Citation in the menu bar to display the Citation Entry screen. 2. Enter the details of the citation in the text field. This is a required field.

    UPDATE SHIPPING/TRAILER These options allow you to enter shipping or trailer updates. This information appears in your daily log. The following steps apply to both shipping and trailer updates. 1. Select eDriver Logs [ Updates [ Shipping in the menu bar to display the Shipping Information Entry screen.
