Cause/Remedy
You set the alarm when you have already set it previously.

Check the setting and set the appropriate date and time.
You set the alarm when the time has already passed. Check the

setting and set the appropriate date and time.
You selected a message that has been locked. You cannot add

a new message to it, cannot orverwrite it, and cannot erase it.
Set "LOCK" to "OFF" in the menu before erasing the message.
You cannot add a recording or overwrite a recording because

"REC-OP" is set to "OFF. " Set it to "ON. "
A system error other than the above has occurred. Take out the

batteries and insert them again (page 11).
