This corresponds to two aperture steps. leD moDelling light The DMF-480 flash boasts of a LED modelling light, which helps to judge shadows and reflections before taking the picture. Press the MODEL button to switch the light on. Pressing the button again, the modelling light will be switched off again. - Page 11 It can be difficult to get sharp images of fast movements e.g. of snow boarders or downhill bikers. The regular flashing time of the flash unit will be too long and will create in-motion unsharpness with a wiping effect. The DMF-480 studio flash offers five settings for reduced flashing times in order to master such kind of objects.

Formers The DMF-480 studio flash is fitted with a Bowens bayonet. It is therefore possible to connect a variety of light formers out of the DÖRR studio accessory line – an optional adapter ring will be required. Light formers are essential for attractive portrait shoo- ting and for a creative light composition. -

imPortant notes • The flash boasts of an overheat control. After frequent use, the cooling is activated to prevent overheating. While the overheat control is active, you cannot work with the flash for around 30 min. • When the battery has been recharged, it will require approx. 30 min to cool down.
