Functional Test Guide
Use the following chart to verify proper operation after installation. To start the test, pick up a telephone and dial the access
code for the port to which the PCM is connected.
1. Double check for correct wiring to PCMTIM.
2. Ensure connections are making proper contact.
3. Check power supply. (Be sure all LEDs are lit on each
module.)
4. Make sure that PCMTIM Slide switch settings correspond
to the type of tel input being used, loop start, etc...
Does the PCM return a confirmation tone?

Follow Procedure A to determine
if the PCM is functional.
The PCM is activated if it returns a confirmation tone over the telephone.
