    Introduction Refer to the airport project plans and specifications for the specific installation instructions. 2.3.1 Inspection on Arrival Inspect each light on arrival, note any damage and report to the carrier and your ADB representative. 2.3.2 Storage The proper storage of the ERTE on a shelf is to leave it in the box it arrived in or place in a bin with a protective wrap to protect the glass from damage.

    This subsection provides installation instructions for the L-861SE light fixture. 2.4.1 Placement The L-861SE light fixtures are located 2 to 10 feet (0.6 to 3 m) from the edge of the full strength pavement runway and in a straight line on each side of the runway. The fixtures are spaced longitudinally not more than 200 feet (61 m) apart on a line such that the light units on opposite sides of the runway are perpendicular to the runway centerline.
