The solenoid valves are factory installed and are attached to an automatic water AIR GAP blender which will introduce water tempered to approximately 107˚ F. - Page 5 Operating Instructions TO START: TO STOP: SAFETY RESERVOIR COVER SCREENS Close DRAIN VALVE. Press STOP button on the Position RESERVOIR SCREENS in bottom of tank. CONTROL PANEL. SALVAGE BASIN Lower SALVAGE BASIN over reservoir screens. Open DRAIN VALVE. Lower SAFETY COVER over disposer. Allow time for trough to drain.
- Page 6 How it Works Hot and cold water pass through a water blender set at 107˚ F. The blended water enters the tank at the rate of 5 gallons per minute. Cold water is introduced directly into the disposer grind chamber at the rate of 2 gallons per minute.
