To achieve the highest weighing accuracy and ensure that the weighing specifications are met, the balance must be
adjusted at its place of use.
Special instructions for approved AV...M balances.

Initial verification must be performed in two steps.

1st step: All tests have been performed to fulfill EN45501-8.2 in the factory.
2nd step: The balance must be verified by a notified body (weights and measures inspector) or by a certified service organization at the end
user's workplace.
Adjustment at the place of use. The LEGAL TRADE setting must be changed from OFF to OIML according to the section "Setting the Balance for
Type-Approved Operation" in the Instruction Manual P/N 80251160.
The green "M" marking must be applied.
If national regulations limit the duration of validity of the verification certificate in individual countries, the end user of such a balance is
personally responsible for arranging the periodic verification.

Die anfängliche Verifizierung muss in zwei Schritten erfolgen.
1. Schritt: Alle Tests wurden ab Werk zur Erfüllung der Norm EN45501-8.2 durchgeführt.
2. Schritt: Die Waage muss von einer entsprechend benachrichtigten Behörde (Kontrollstelle für Maße und Gewichte) oder von einer
zertifizierten Service-Organisation am Arbeitsplatz des Endbenutzers verifiziert werden.
Einstellung am Einsatzort. Die LEGAL TRADE (Eichpflichtige) Einstellung muss gemäß dem Abschnitt „Einstellung der Waage auf den amtlich
zugelassenen Betrieb" in der Bedienungsanleitung Teilenr. 80251160 von OFF (Ausschalten) auf OIML geändert werden.
Die grüne Markierung „M" muss aufgebracht werden.
Wenn nationale Vorschriften die Gültigkeitsdauer des Verifizierungszertifikats in einzelnen Ländern begrenzen, ist der Endbenutzer persönlich
dafür verantwortlich, eine regelmäßige Verifizierung sicherzustellen.
