Command. To bypass RS-232 serial control signals to a PC or a serial device, connect the PC or serial device (e.g. touch pad) to the VE2812R’s RS- 232 Serial port and put the RS-232 Serial Communication Switch to Bypass.
You can set the VE2812R to either bypass serial data or to receive RS-232 commands. By default, the VE2812R is set to bypass serial data. To set the unit to receive RS-232 commands, press the Input Switch pushbutton for 5 seconds.
