Encoder Control Encoder Control page will list all Hornet devices in your network along with their current status. The Hornet that you logged in to is shown as the current device. The example above shows three Hornets, the first one is “this” Hornet and shows the Device Name as the default Serial Number.

The audio bit rate determines the quality of the audio. 128 Kbps is a good choice for most uses. Output Settings The Output Settings is where you configure the Hornet to get instructions from the Discover Video DEVOS or DVExpress system. Copy the URL from DEVOS to the RTMP Output area as shown and select Apply then OK.

Hornet Troubleshooting & Notes To fully reset the Hornet to factory settings, press the front panel button for 30 seconds and then apply power. When the LEDs blink three times, reset is complete. Visit the Discover Video Support Center for more information.
