There are two ways to find the IP address: Method 1 -- USB Insert a USB storage device into the Hornet’s USB port. After a few moments, a text file “streaming_ip_address.txt” will be created and it will contain the IP address of the Hornet in this form: IP address: 172.16.1.235 DHCP assigned IP address Mask: 255.255.255.0 Gateway: 172.16.1.1 Domain name servers(DNS): 172.16.1.1... - Page 4 Encoder Control Encoder Control page will list all Hornet devices in your network along with their current status. The Hornet that you logged in to is shown as the current device. The example above shows three Hornets, the first one is “this” Hornet and shows the Device Name as the default Serial Number.

Output Settings The Output Settings is where you configure the Hornet to get instructions from the Discover Video DEVOS or DVExpress system. Copy the URL from DEVOS to the RTMP Output area as shown and select Apply then OK.

Hornet Troubleshooting & Notes To fully reset the Hornet to factory settings, press the front panel button for 30 seconds and then apply power. When the LEDs blink three times, reset is complete. Visit the Discover Video Support Center for more information. -
