2) Press the Ta b Set Key A beep will sound
each time a ta b is set. A maximum of 16 tab
stops can be set .
2. Clearing a single fa b
1 ) Move t h e P r int Point Indicator t o the tab you
want to c l e a r.
2) Press the Tab Clear Key. A beep will conf i rm
that the tab has been cleared.
3. Clearing all tabs
1) Press the Tab Clear K ey.
2) Hold down the Repeat Key. Repeating beeps
confirm that all tabs have been cleared. All
tabs can be cle ared rega rdless of carrier
position.
4. H ow to tab
7 ) Press the Tab Key to advance the c a rrie r to the
next tab on the r i g ht I f the re is no tab between
the carrie r and the right m argin, the c a rrie r will
advan c e to the right margin, at which point a
beep will sound. I f the Ta b Key is pressed w ith
the c a rrie r beyond the right m a r g in and the re 1s
no tab before the end of the c a r riag e , the
c arrie r will advance to the right end of the
carria g e .
2 ) If the tab is within five spaces to the left of the
right margin, a beep sounds.

Tab settings a r e p rotected by the m e m o ry
back-up circuit for 30 d ays.
