I cannot update the firmware because I do not have a WiFi connection.
What can I do?
You can update by downloading the
latest firmware to your computer and
transferring it to your ARCHOS using the
USB cable. See the 'How to install a
firmware' on the download page of the
'Support' section.
I cannot turn on my device, what should I do?
Make sure the battery is fully charged.
Connect it to its power charger/adapter
(ARCHOS

computer with the USB cable (ARCHOS
28, 32, 43)and allow it to charge until
the battery light on the side of the
device blinks (this could take several
hours).
My Touchscreen isn't working properly, what should I do?
You may need to re-calibrate your
touchscreen. There are 2 ways to do
this depending on how much access
you
have
with
touchscreen.
If
you
can
access
interface
1. In the device homescreen, tap on the
menu button (4 parallel lines) then tap
on 'Settings'.
2. In the Settings screen, tap on 'Repair
& Formatting' at the bottom of the
menu list.
3. In the 'Repair & Formatting' screen,
tap on 'Touchscreen Calibration'. A
message will tell you to put your
ARCHOS down.
4. Put the device on a flat surface.
5. Tap on 'Calibrate the touchscreen'.
The calibration of the touchscreen will
start. Do not touch the product until the
calibration is complete.
IMPORTANT: If you do not put the
device on a flat surface (e.g. Table), the
touchscreen
calibration
successful.
