If you have a compatible iPhone or Android phone your BT-50 is ready to connect it with Apple CarPlay
or Android ® Auto. These functions allow you to control selected apps on your phone with your BT-50
colour screen. You can listen to music and podcasts, use your phone's navigation function and more.
Getting access to Apple CarPlay

• Plug your iPhone into the into the CarPlay port using
a Lightning to USB cable.
• Press the MENU button on the screen.
• Touch Apple CarPlay. ®
• Apple CarPlay is now activated. Touch the desired app
®
icon on your BT-50 screen or use the Siri function by
pressing the VOICE button.

Activating Android Auto
® ^
• Download the Android ® Auto app from the Google Play
store to your smartphone.
• Plug your smartphone into the BT-50's USB connector
then follow the prompts to connect your smartphone
with the BT-50.
• Press the MENU button on the screen.
• Touch Android ® Auto.
• Android Auto is now activated. Touch the desired app

icon on your BT-50 screen to use.
