UNPACKING AND POSITIONING
o
CHECK THE PACKAGE FOR EXTERNAL DAMAGE BEFORE UNPACKING.
o
NOTIFY SUPPLIER AND TRANSPORTER IMMEDIATELY IF DAMAGE IS FOUND.
o
OPEN UNIT DOORS AND REMOVE ACCESSORIES IF ANY.
o
UN-COIL THE POWER LEAD FROM THE REAR COMPRESSOR COMPARTMENT.
o
MOVE THE UNIT TO THE DESIRED POSITION.
o
LEVELLING FEET UNDERNEATH ALLOWS FOR ADUSTMENT IF THE FLOOR IS UNEVEN
LEAVE A CLEAR SPACE OF AT LEAST 150mm BEHIND THE UNIT TO ALLOW ADEQUATE VENTILATION.
OPERATION (ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS)
Plug the unit into a 20 Amp outlet – 3 TIER MODEL & 4 TIER MODEL
Plug the unit into a 25 Amp outlet – 6 TIER MODEL
WARNING: THIS MACHINE IS PROVIDED WITH A THREE-PRONGED EARTHED PLUG.
THE OUTLET TO WHICH THE PLUG IS CONNECTED MUST BE PROPERLY EARTHED.
IF THE WALL SOCKET IS NOT EARTHED, CONTACT AN ELECTRICIAN.
o Switch on the mains power supply.
o Digital temperature control and display is mounted is provided and located in front, TOP of the cabinet.
o Allow the cabinet to reach normal operating temperature before loading (Approximately 1 ½ hours).
o The refrigerated storage cabinet is designed to maintain a temperature of +2°C to +10°C.
o It is normal for the front and back temperature readings to differ at times
Frequently opening the doors will increase the temperature in the cabinet and will require a certain amount of run
time to recover.
FREQUENT POWER FAILURES AND DIMMING OF ELECTRIC LIGHTS INDICATE POOR QUALITY ELECTRICAL SUPPLY AND CAN LEAD TO
COMPONENT FAILURE. IF THERE IS ANY DOUBT AS TO THE QUALITY OF MAIN ELECTRICAL SUPPLY, A VOLTAGE STABILIZER SHOULD BE
USED.
ROUTINE MAINTENANCE
WARNING: DISCONNECT ELECTRICAL POWER SUPPLY BEFORE CLEANING ANY PARTS ON THE UNIT.
o
Use warm soapy water to clean the storage cabinet and doors. Never use chemicals containing grit, abrasive
materials, bleach or harsh chemicals. Rinse thoroughly and dry with a clean soft cloth.
o The condenser coil (radiator) must be cleaned regularly for optimal performance. The condenser coil must be
cleaned a minimum of once every month.
 Air must be able to freely circulate through the condenser coil.

  • Page 2 ROUTINE MAINTENANCE CLEANING continues  The unit’s performance and operating efficiency are significantly affected by the amount of air passing through the condenser coil.  Condenser coil fins that are clogged and blocked with debris greatly reduce the refrigeration performance. o Failure to keep the coil fins clean may cause premature compressor failure which will not be covered by warranty.
