3.3 Mega Pixel Image with Super HAD CCD
Set behind a superior Carl Zeiss lens is a true 3.3 Mega Pixel Charge Coupled Device
that serves as a discerning electronic eye designed for high precision imaging, to give
beautifully detailed images. Just perfect for prints and other publicity items. Combined
with Super Hole Accumulated Diode's (HAD) superior micro element lenses,
pictures taken even in poor lighting condition remain clear and distinct.
6x Digital Zoom / 3x Optical Zoom
Enjoy breath-taking zoom shots with digital zoom capability. Even without electronic
enhancement, the high precision optical lens assembly boasts of up to 3x optical
telephoto that draws distant objects into view quickly and clearly. On the other hand,
the MVC-CD300's powerful 6x digital zoom capability rises to the challenges of day-
to-day photography easily.
MPEG Movie (HQ) / Voice Memo
High Quality MPEG Movie capturing capability delivers large 320 x 240 pixel full-
screen video playback! Alternatively, with two other movie modes available (320 x
240 or 160 x 112 pixels), you can decide on the quality and size of each movie.
Voice Memo makes it easy to add a short narrative or record the prevailing background
sound to any images as you take a shot. This makes it that much easier to explain the
mood or rationale for each picture.
Scene Selection / Manual Aperture &
Manual Shutter Priority
You have more control with shutter speed priority, aperture priority for various expression.
Scene Selection brings a whole new level of user-friendliness and control to digital
Mavica cameras, making them the ideal digital camera in any situation. Three pre-
programmed exposure setting – Twilight, Landscape, Portrait – gives you fast solutions
to most common photography scenarios.
Text Mode GIF Format
Capture text in greater clarity and contrast with GIF compression format. This format
is ideal for sharp black & white reproductions of text from prints or whiteboards. It
eliminates irrelevant chroma information, such as reflections and subtle tint variations,
hence the excellent text contrast. GIF compression also creates smaller file size than
standard JPEG compression, thus making it easier to share electronically.
ACC Terminal and Accessory Shoe
Our high-end cameras come with an ACC Terminal. This sends control signal from
your digital camera to compatible high power flash units. The optional HVL-F1000
flash effectively provides the added illumination required for distant subjects that the
built-in flash may not be able to reach.
Intelligent Flash
The intelligent flash system automatically varies the flash intensity in accordance to
distance and exposure values for excellent illumination control. You can even override
the automatic setting by choosing from Force Flash, Flash Off and 3 levels of brightness
settings in menu.
USB PC Interface
Enjoy high-speed exchange of images between your USB equipped computer. Rated
at an exceptional fast 12Mbps, all your Mega Pixel images can be downloaded in
seconds. Its plug-and-play architecture lets you connect your camera instantly to PCs*.
No messy settings or reboots just to upload your images to your computer. Connected
via USB, your digital camera is recognised as an 'external USB drive'. Hence besides
image files, you can, at the same time, transport other types of data content back and
forth freely and quickly.
(*not Macintosh compatible)
AF Illuminator
With an emission of visible light, it makes possible to focus on objects that is normally
difficult in a dark place. With "AF Illuminator" the detection for proper focus distance
becomes accurate.
PAL/NTSC TV Slideshow Playback
Equipped with a convenient video output socket, it is easy to playback your favourite
shots on almost any television. The camera comes ready for playback on both NTSC
and PAL televisions. And with our slideshow playback capability, you will also be
able to use this camera as an easy-to-use presentation tool.

Burst Mode

You can take 3 shots sequentially to capture a moving object at one shooting, using
memory buffering.
