Conse- quently the owner of the product is subject to legal in- dustrial safety obligations.
SPANNTOP [nova] – Safety WARNING! Risk of injury! Declining operating force, for example by decli- ning energy supply, may cause serious perso- nal injury. The product may be used only on machines where it is ensured, that during use, the ope- rating force does not drop.
SPANNTOP [nova] – Safety Electric specialist The electric specialist has been trained for the parti- cular task area in which he is active and is familiar with the relevant standards and regulations. Due to his specialized training and experience the electric specialist can perform tasks on electric equipment and recognize and avoid possible dan- gers on his own.
SPANNTOP [nova] – Safety WARNING! Danger due to misuse! Misuse of the clamping device can cause dange- rous situations. Particularly refrain from the following uses of the clamping device: Use in machines other than machine tools. Use in machine tools with technical data other than that specified on the clamping device.
SPANNTOP [nova] – Safety For special tasks Special protective equipment is required when execu- wear ting special tasks. Separate reference is made to this equipment in the specific sections of this manual.
