Symptom
During recording with optical
digital connection, the track
number cannot be recorded
correctly.
The CD player does not start
charging.
Playback starts from the
point you stopped.
Rustlig noise of the CD is
heard.
Cause and/or corrective actions
c Record the track number again using the MiniDisc recorder, DAT
recorder, etc. (page 17)
c See the instruction manual that comes with the recording device.

c During stop, press x/CHG. (page 19)
c You pressed x on the remote control. Press x/CHG on the CD
player. (page 19)
c The resume function is working. Open the lid of the CD player; or
remove all power sources, then insert the batteries or connect the
AC power adaptor again. (pages 7, 19, 21)
c Close the lid of the battery compartment firmly. (page 19)
