Displaying the frequency of the FM transmitter
• Press and hold [
] (4) for about 3 seconds to access
the settings menu.
• Turn [VOLUME/SELECT/NAVIGATE] to navigate to the
'FMTx Scan' menu item.
• Press [VOLUME/SELECT/NAVIGATE] to display the
current frequency of the FM transmitter.
• Turn [VOLUME/SELECT/NAVIGATE] to search for an
unused frequency for the FM transmitter. Then adjust the
FM frequency of your car radio accordingly.

5.4.2 3.5-mm jack cable (Line out)

You can use the analogue audio input (AUX IN socket) and
a 3.5-mm jack cable (not supplied) to connect the device
to the radio and play your audio files using the car radio.
• Connect your car radio to the audio input (the AUX IN
socket) (15) of the device using a 3.5-mm audio cable
(jack cable).
• Start and control audio playback using the controls of
your car radio.

5.5 Operating modes (DAB and DAB+ / BT)

This device supports reception via DAB and DAB+. If a
Bluetooth connection is established to a terminal device,
audio files stored on the terminal device can be played via
AUX or the FM transmitter.
Repeatedly press [ ] (3) to change mode.
Note
Audio files stored on the device cannot be played on
another device using Bluetooth. The Bluetooth module
is used only for receiving audio files.

6. Digital radio (DAB/DAB+)

6.1 Station list

Note
The station list contains all of the stations found during
the most recent station search run. A new station
search can be started, as described in section 7.2.
The reception quality of a station depends on various
factors, including the weather conditions, the location of
the radio and the orientation of the antenna. If a station
in the station list cannot be received, try changing the
orientation of the antenna or moving the radio to a
different location.
If a station cannot be received, consult section 7.3 to
find out how to remove it from the station list.
• Turn [VOLUME/SELECT/NAVIGATE] during playback to
navigate through the available stations alphabetically.
You can navigate in descending/ascending order by
turning to the left/right.
• Press [VOLUME/SELECT/NAVIGATE] to select a station.
• The station is then automatically played.

6.2 Station search / Search

• Press [
] (4) and navigate to the 'Search' menu
item to start a new station search.
• Confirm the selection by pressing [VOLUME/SELECT/
NAVIGATE]. Please wait until this search is completed.

6.3 Cleaning up the station list

Inactive stations that can no longer be received may be
removed from the list.
• Press [
] (4) and navigate to the 'Clear?' menu item.
• Confirm the selection by pressing [VOLUME/SELECT/
NAVIGATE].
• A confirmation prompt is displayed; select 'Yes' and
confirm by pressing [VOLUME/SELECT/NAVIGATE].
• Press [ ] (8) or select 'No' to cancel the delete process.
• This process can take up to one minute.
