Heat Powered Stove Fan

Safety
• Note: When hot, the fan should always be lifted by
the handle to prevent the risk of burns.
• Keep the fan out of children's reach.
• If the temperature of the stove exceeds 345 °C,
the fan should be removed to prevent it from
becoming damaged. The use of a stovetop
thermometer is recommended to monitor
the temperature.
• Never touch the fan while it is in operation,
if it needs moving, use the handle.
Operating instructions
Note:
• There is a bi-metallic strip fitted to the bottom
of the base which will lift the base up when
the temperature gets close to 345 °C. This is a feature
is designed to prevent the base being damaged by
too high a temperature.
• The base of the fan will become very hot during
use, do not place the hot fan on any heat-sensitive
surfaces.

Placement
For optimum effect, the fan should be placed near
the back of the stove. Do not place the fan in front of
the stovepipe.
The temperature of the surface of the stovetop can vary;
experiment to find the best position.
Care and maintenance
• Do not cool the fan down too quickly after use
(such as by using water), let it cool slowly.
• Always let the fan cool before cleaning it.
• Clean the fan using a lightly moistened cloth. Use only
mild cleaning agents, never solvents or corrosive
chemicals.
Disposal
This product should be disposed of in accordance with
local regulations. If you are unsure how to proceed,
contact your local council.
