    Operating instruction EC II Installation Operation with rechargeable batteries Rechargeable batteries will run down even during prolonged idle periods if the scale is not connected to the mains. Therefore, connect the scale to the mains at least every 3 months. When the scale is operating on the mains supply, the rechargeable batteries are only recharged when the scale is switched on (trickle charging).
