Choice of location for the feeders
Depending on your pond situation, there are several ways to mount the feeder on the pond. Provide
after filling of feed that the lid is always closed.
Connecting the battery
Open the computer and the battery cover to insert the batteries. The symbols
+ and - you know the correct polarity to insert the batteries. Use (do not use rechargeable batteries),
two 1.5 V alkaline batteries size C. If the symbol "LO" in the left display, the batteries are almost
empty. Feeding is still running, but the batteries should be changed in at least 2 days.
Under test conditions the feeder worked with a battery pack about 3 months. The operating time can
be shortened by outside temperatures and the use of low batteries.
Setting the time
Press the Mode button and then set. Set the hour by pressing the "+" button. Press the Set. Then
adjust the minutes and confirm again with the set.
Setting the feeding time
For each feeding time a fixed amount of feed is used. Depending on the number of fish in your pond,
you can each feeding time, feeding a second time or choose to allocate (and 1 1 ↓ ↓ ↓). Between
feeding and 1 1 ↓ ↓ ↓ is a time interval of one minute.
Press Mode. Feeding time is displayed with a 00:00 and the number 1 in the upper section of the AP.
Press the Set button. The hours are flashing, then press the "+" key to set the hour.
Press the Set button. The minutes are flashing, then press the "+" key to adjust the minutes.
Press the Set button. The number 1 flashes, press the "+" key to select 1 or 1 ↓ ↓ ↓ feedings, more or
less food.
Press mode to set the next feeding time. Press Mode to exit the program further.
To the feeding time 2 - 4 to program, do the same as for programming the feeding time 1.
To check the set feeding times, press the Mode button one after the feeding and administering volume
control (the display shows the feeding time and feeding the respective adjusted amounts). Do the
same to the feeding times change.
If 5 minutes of programming no button is pressed, all programming will be displayed is stored.

Adjusting the amount of food
The amount of fish food that is necessary to keep your fish healthy to depend on the amount of fish in
the pond and its size, as well as on the season and the water temperature in the pond.
In general, the following guidelines:
Winter, with temperatures reaching 10 ° C: No feeding
Late autumn and early last year: 1x daily a small amount
Warmer periods in spring and autumn: 2x every day (normal feeding)
Summer: 2-4 daily feedings
Feed her as much as the fish eat in 5 minutes, remove the leftover food. It is recommended to use
high-quality FIAP premiumactive feeding.
Cleaning
To ensure a good continuity with the feedings, then the FIAP premiumactive FEEDING HOUSE during
the season now and again to be cleaned. Remove with a small brush the dust and food residues from
the scattering mechanism.
Store / overwintering
Clean for the winter and dry the food container and keep the equipment until the following spring in a
dry and frost-free place on.
