Drive Sensibly - Save Fuel
Fuel consum ption, to a great extent,
depends on driving habits and operat
ing conditions.
To save fuel you should:
keep tires at the recom m ended
inflation pressures
remove unnecessary loads
remove ski racks or roof-m ounted
luggage racks when not in use
allow engine to warm up under low
load use
avoid frequent acceleration and
deceleration
have all m aintenance w ork per
form ed at regular intervals by an
authorized MERCEDES-BENZ
dealer.
Fuel consum ption is also increased
by driving in cold weather, in stop-
and-go traffic, on short trip s and in
hilly country.
