Pulling: as the cutters wear, your shave may not feel as close and you may feel the
cutters pulling your hair.
Wear through: you may notice that the cutters have worn through the foils.
TO REPLACE THE FOIL AND CUTTERS
Ensure the shaver is switched off.
Remove the shaving head assembly by grasping the trimmers between your thumb and
forefinger and pull upwards. The shaving head assembly should then easily detach from
the main body.
To reassemble, align the shaving head assembly onto the main body and gently push
the plastic housing at each side of the foil until it clicks into place.
CAUTION Do not press on the foil when replacing.
BATTERIES
Fitting, removing and replacing
Your appliance requires 2 'AAA' alkaline batteries (first set included). We recommend
that you use VARTA® batteries.
1. Ensure your appliance is turned off.
2. Remove the battery compartment cap located on the bottom of the shaver by rotating
the clasp approximately ¼ turn anti-clockwise then pull off.
3. Insert the batteries in the orientation shown on the indicator symbols inside the
protruding lip of the battery compartment.
4. Push the battery compartment cap back onto the shaver so that it is inserted all the way
and rotate the clasp clockwise until it is back in its original position.
Remove batteries if the unit is not going to be used long periods.
Different types of batteries or new and used batteries are not to be mixed.
Do not short circuit the battery contacts.
Used batteries must be removed from the appliance and disposed of at an appropriate
official recycling/collection point.
Do not dispose of used batteries in a fire.
Do not try to charge non-rechargeable batteries.

To avoid environmental and health problems due to hazardous
substances, appliances and rechargeable and non-rechargeable
batteries marked with one of these symbols must not be disposed of
with unsorted municipal waste. Always dispose of electrical and
electronic products and, where applicable, rechargeable and
non-rechargeable batteries, at an appropriate official recycling/
collection point.
