    Each unit is shipped with one Li-Ion battery installed, though disconnected. To enable the battery, you will need ® to remove the rear cover and plug the battery connector into the mating connector on the DSVII-SC • The battery is shipped fully charged, however, there is a small amount of self-discharge even when the battery is disconnected.

    DSVII-SC User Manual, Version 1.11 ® Operation Startup Sequence: • To begin operation, depress and hold the power button on the front of the DSVII-SC ® unit. • Release the button when a single beep is heard. • Two additional beeps acknowledge that power has been activated. The keypad and LCD backlights will turn on.
