Remote control

A 3-volt button cell, type CR2025 is used to power the
remote control.
Upon delivery, this button cell is already in the remote
control and is secured by a plastic strip. The strip is vis-
ible on the back of the remote control. Just carefully pull it
out. The remote control is now ready for use.

Changing the batteries

1.
Hold the remote control with the bottom facing up
2.
Press the bar on the battery
compartment to the middle
(A) and pull out the compart-
ment (B).
3.
Take out the empty batteries
(please observe the notes on
page 16).
4.
Insert the new battery in the bracket. In the process,
the "+" symbol must be visible on the battery and
bracket.
5.
Put the bracket back into the unit and push the com-
partment until it locks into place.

Clock and alarm

The integrated clock always displays the current time in
the display fi eld 2. There are two alarms, a sleep function
(up to 90 minutes) and a snooze function (fi ve times every
seven minutes).

Setting the time

1.
Briefl y press the button
will blink in the display fi eld 2.
2.
Briefl y push the volume control
button 25 "Enter".
"TIME SET" will blink in the display fi eld 2.
3.
Briefl y press the volume control
the button 25 "Enter".
The time will appear in the display fi eld and the minutes
will blink.
4.
Set the minutes with the buttons
"Tune –" and/or 32 "Tune +/–".
5.
Briefl y press the volume control
the button 25 "Enter". Now the hours will blink in the
display fi eld.
6.
You can also set the hours with the buttons
and 5 "Tune –" and/or 32 "Tune +/–".
7.
Briefl y press the volume control
the button 25 "Enter". The time has now been set.

Functionality

The remote control transmits
infrared control signals. For this,
it is necessary that you point the
remote control towards the iTeufel
Radio v2. Make sure no objects
are in the way of the infrared
signal.
Fluorescent lamps installed in
