Mounting of Fanterra on the Tractor

With Hydraulic fan

If the Terra-Seeder is supplied with hydraulic blower
transmission driven directly from the hydraulic system of the
tractor, the hydraulic motor requires 20-32 l/min. depending on
the RPM. It is necessary that the tractor have a priority spool in
order to ensure a constant oil flow.
IMPORTANT: It must be ensured that there is unpressurised
return to the hydraulic system of the tractor. The return hose
may never be coupled to the main hydraulic valves of the
tractor due to extensive backpressure.
If the tractor is not equipped with a female end for
unpressurised return, such shall be installed – as illustrated here.

Blower RPM

The current blower RPM is read on the Seed-Controller
In connection with seeds, the air flow shall be reduced by means
of a blanking plate situated at the top of the fan. Please check
the seed table as regards the use of this blanking plate.
The RPM during seeding shall be between 3200-3500.
The air flow shall be reduced for seeds. This is done by
reducing the RPM by 200-300.
