Instructions for charging your new ET6.
Your ET6 must be fully charged prior to use to insure peak performance as by design. It may
charge quickly or take up to 8 hours or more depending on its current state of charge.
1. The ET6 comes with an alarm and LED light system. The alarm system connector may have
been disconnected at the factory as the alarm draws a small amount of electricity. If it has
been disconnected, reconnect the alarm connector (see photo below). You will hear a sharp
chirp as the alarm activates.
2. However, sometimes you will find that the battery box supplied to you has been
disconnected at the three pin source under the footplate. If this is the case, simply plug in
the three pin connector located under your feet. This will power up the unit and you will
hear a sharp chirp.
3. After reading the Owner's Manual and assembling the ET6, plug the external charger box
into the scooter first-there is an aligning groove to ensure it is plugged correctly into the
scooter. NEVER plug into the wall socket first. It can damage the charger and the batteries.
ALWAYS plug into the scooter first.
4. Now plug the wall socket end of the charger into the wall socket. The charger light will
illuminate red. This indicates that the batteries are being charged.
