Voodoo3 Known Problems
Note: This is a list of problems that have been experienced with the v1.00 Voodoo3 product.
• Intermittent vertical black bar on right side of screen when displaying Video
• Noise appears when adjusting Gamma in very high resolution modes
• Descent3: Level 2 will have texture corruption on doors
• Running Quake 3 in a resolution that is higher than desktop and not supported in DDraw
causes a page fault
• Kingpin performance with OGL ICD is considerably less than with MiniGL 1.49
• With OGL ICD, Hexen2 will have major performance degradation when if you alt/tab out of

• Monster Truck Madness 2 has video corruption at beginning of game
• Pro Pilot99 has flashing 2D corruption
• Windowed OGL ICD performance is lower than full screen performance

version of MS Media Player)
• Flashing textures in Unreal
• EA titles (Tiger Woods '99, NFS III) do not recognize Voodoo3 and thus cannot run glide
(workaround: install latest game patch)
• Half-life causes an application error when switching game resolutions (workaround: install
latest game patch)
• Corrupted text in Rogue Squadron
