Operation

The individual heat control settings allow you
to enjoy the use of your fire at all times of the
year. The maximum heat output is 1850 watts.
The appliance has a modern efficient convection
system and achieves a comfortable room tempe-
rature by distributing its heat into the room
through an opening with a protective mesh (on
the front).
The electric fire has three operating switches,
allowing you to enjoy comfort and economy
when using your fire.
Selector switch
:
The selector switch has the following basic
settings:
·
OFF
·
flame only
·
fan (without heat)
·
low heat output (900 watts - one quartz heating
element in use)
·
maximum heat output (1850 watts - two quartz
heating elements in use)
Flame appearance knob (brightness control)
The KH 1118 creates a remarkably realistic and
convincing range of coal-fire effects. Whether
you prefer a small low flame or a bright blazing
fire, by using the flame appearance knob
adjust the light you can set the flame to suit your
individual requirements. Just turn the knob
clockwise until you have the best setting.
Temperature controller

Set the temperature controller to "max". Once
the required room temperature is reached, it can
be turned back until a "click" can be heard.
This temperature will be kept almost constant
by the thermostatic control switching on and off
the second quartz heating element.
