Changing the Backlight Time Length
The backlight setting lets you select how long the display
screen and keypad are backlit after any key press is made.
To change the backlight setting:
1.
Select Menu > Settings > Display > Backlight Control
> Backlight Timeout.
2.
Select a time setting and press
Note:
Long backlight settings affect the battery's talk and standby
times.
Changing the Contrast
You can adjust your screen's contrast (brightness) to suit your
surroundings.
To adjust the display's contrast:
1.
Select Menu > Settings > Display > Contrast.
2.
Press your navigation key left or right to adjust the
screen contrast and press
Changing the Phone's Menu Style
Your Sprint PCS Phone allows you to choose how the menu
appears on your display screen.
To select the display's menu style:
1.
Select Menu > Settings > Display > Menu Display >
Menu Style.
2.
Select Grid Menu to view the main menu as icons only,
List Menu to view the main menu as a list of icons and
names, or Two Level Menu to view the main menu as
icons with names that appear when you highlight an
icon and press
