Page 8: Wi-Fi Requirements
Wi-Fi Requirements Niro requires a 2.4GHz or 5GHz router (802.11bg/n) for Wi-Fi connectivity. This is a standard home Wi-Fi router. You will need your Wi-Fi name and password when pairing your mobile device and GDC. Note: If you are using a 2.4GHz + 5 GHz dual band router, create separate SSID names for each band on your Wi-Fi router settings page. -

To connect the Momentum Niro MOGO-001, follow these steps:
1. Download the App
- Install the Momentum App from the Apple App Store or Google Play.
- Ensure your mobile device is connected to the Wi-Fi network you want to use.
2. Create an Account
- Sign up for a new account and verify it via the email confirmation link.
- Return to the app and sign in.
3. Power the Niro Device
- Connect the Micro-USB cable to the back of the camera and the power adapter.
- Plug the power adapter into an outlet.
4. Pair the Niro Device
- Ensure your mobile device is connected to the Wi-Fi network.
- Open the Momentum app and select "Pair Device."
- Choose "Garage Door Controller" from the device list.
- Go to your mobile device’s Wi-Fi settings and connect to the ‘MOGA-001’ network.
5. Connect to Wi-Fi Network
- Return to the Momentum App.

6. Mount the Niro Device
- It is recommended to mount the Niro upside down on the bottom of your garage opener.
