OPERATON
20V LI-ION IMPACT DRIVER:

ROTATION DIRECTION
Your impact driver is equipped with a 3-position forward / reverse / neutral-lock switch
through the housing above the trigger.
1. When knob is pushed toward the left, rotation is forward (clockwise).
2. When pushed in from the left to the right side, rotation is reversed (counter-clockwise).
3. When in center position, it is locked in neutral and the trigger is blocked. Do not push
the rotation direction knob until the chuck stops turning.
SWITCH TRIGGER
To turn the tool ON, depress the switch trigger. To turn it OFF, release the
switch trigger.

VARIABLE SPEED

The switch trigger delivers higher speed with increased trigger pressure and
lower speed with decreased trigger pressure.
NOTE: You might hear a whistling or ringing noise from the switch during use. Do not be
concerned his is a normal part of the switch function.
INSTALLING/REMOVING BITS
The 1/4" fast load chuck provides fast, easy one-handed bit loading and ejecting.
To install:
Lock switch trigger on the tool by placing the direction of rotation selector in center position.
Pull the chuck sleeve away from the driver.
Push the bit into the chuck until it clicks into place. Release the chuck sleeve.
Pull on the bit to make sure it is secured in the chuck. There may be some play in the
installed bit his is normal.
NOTE: Use only impact quality bits with a locking groove.
WARNING: Make sure the bit is secured in the chuck before using the impact driver.
Failure to do so could cause serious personal injury.
