5.2 Memory-Layout
The Siemens microcontroller C164CI is configured so that up to 1MByte external, linear memory is
addressable. Code and data are accessed in the same address space. The C164CI has internal

The internal and the external memory area are mapped into common address space. For more
information refer to the Siemens data book. The table below shows the external memory configuration.
The memory is 8-Bit oriented.
