Your phone
Band selection
For the phone to make and receive phone calls, it must
be registered with one of the available networks. Your
Smartphone can handle combined GSM 900/1800 or
PCS 1900 networks.
The country where your phone was purchased
determines the default band that it uses. When you
travel abroad, you must remember to change to an
appropriate band.
1. On the Home screen, press the Start soft key.
2. Select Settings → Phone → Band Selection.
3. Select an appropriate band in the Band Selection field.
4. If the confirmation screen displays, press the Yes soft
key to confirm your selection.
5. Press the Ok soft key.
Fixed Dialling
When this option is enabled, your Smartphone restricts
your outgoing calls to a limited set of phone numbers,
which are stored on the SIM card. You can only call
those phone numbers that are included on the Fixed
dialling contact list or which begin with the same digit(s)
as a phone number on the list.
To activate the Fixed dialling function:
1. On the Home screen, press the Start soft key.
2. Select Settings → Phone → Fixed Dialling.
