SteamerGard™ Models WT -200 & WT-400 OPERATION SteamerGard Unit ™ First, ensure that the main cold tap water valve is open and the feed water valve on the SteamerGard™ unit is open. The valve handle will be parallel to the valve body. If the SteamerGard™ unit is new or filters have just been changed, air should be purged from the system with the DEPRESSURIZE switch.
Pump Pressure Gauge: During normal operation, when the pump is running, the pump pressure gauge should read approximately 180 psi. Under no circumstances should the pump pressure ever exceed 200 psi. Control Panel The control panel is designed to provide important information about SteamerGard™ water quality and storage tank pressure, as well as to provide a manual system bypass to revert the steamer to tap water operation should overuse or a malfunction cause the storage tank(s) to become depleted.
