    Keys and Functions Press… To… View the dialed, received or missed calls in the idle mode. Make or answer a call. Power on or off the phone (by pressing and holding it). End a call or reject an incoming call. Return to the idle mode.

    Press… To… Enter numbers and characters. Speed-dial phone numbers in the idle mode (by long – pressing 2-9 keys). Select a submenu item labeled with the corresponding number. Enter the * symbol. Enable the Meeting or Outdoor profile (by pressing and holding it) in the idle mode.

  • Page 7: Installing The Sim Card And Battery

    Installing the SIM Card and Battery Consult the network operator whether a SIM card is needed. Make sure that the golden area on the SIM card is facing downwards and the cut-off edge is correctly aligned with the card holder. Removing the Battery and SIM Card Make sure that your phone is powered off.

    When the charging icon becomes static, the battery is fully charged. Disconnect the charger from the AC power socket. Press the gray buttons on both sides of the charger connector inwards to disconnect the charger from the phone. Using the Function Menu In the idle mode, press (Menu) to display the menu interface.

    To make an international call, press and hold to enter the international long distance code of "+". Then enter the number to be dialed, in the format of "country code + region code + phone number". Press to dial the number. Press to end the call.

    Phone Lock The phone lock protects your phone from unauthorized use. You can change it into any numeric string. If the phone lock function is enabled, you need to enter the correct phone lock code when the phone is powered on or in the standby mode.

    Storage Environment Do not place magnetic storage media such as magnetic cards and floppy disks near the phone. Radiation from the phone may erase the information stored on them. Do not put your phone, battery, or other accessories in containers with strong magnetic field, such as an induction cooker and a microwave oven.
