Messages
Send: allows you to send/resend the message. For
further details, see page 74.
Save address: allows you to extract the
destination number and URL, e-mail addresses or
phone numbers from the message text.
Move to phone: allows you to move the message
from the SIM card to the phone's memory. This
option is only available when you select a message
stored in the SIM card.
Move to SIM: allows you to move the message
from the phone memory to the SIM card. This
option is only available when you select a message
stored in the phone's memory.
Select content: allows you to save media objects,
such as sounds or images, from the message into
your phone. You can use the objects when writing a
message. For details, see page 74.
Templates
(Menu 5.1.4)
Using this menu, you can preset a maximum of 5
messages that you use most frequently.
Select an empty location or the message template
you want and press the Options soft key or the
key.
The following options are available:
Edit: allows you to write a new message template
or edit an existing message template.
Note: For further details about how to enter
characters, see page 32.
Send: allows you to retrieve the message template.
Once you have completed the message, you can

send, save and send, or simply save it. For further
details about how to send a message, see page 74.
Delete: allows you to delete the message
template. You are asked to confirm the deletion by
pressing the Yes soft key or the
Emoticon Template
(Menu 5.1.5)
Using this menu, you can express your thoughts or
feelings easily with emoticons.
Insert an emoticon template into a message or edit
your own emoticon.
The following options are available:
Add: allows you to add an emoticon you want.
Edit: allows you to edit an existing emoticon
template.
Send: allows you to insert the emoticon into a
message.
Delete: allows you to delete the emoticon you have
added.
Settings
(Menu 5.1.6)
In this menu, you can set up default message
information. A setting group is a collection of
settings required to send messages. The number of
setting groups available depends on the capacity of
your SIM card.
