Drill Bit
The Torque Selector dial is located just behind the chuck (15). Lowest torque: position #1.
Highest torque: position #6.
For example, position #1 (low torque) is appropriate for driving screws into wood without
stripping the screw, but would not provide enough torque for drilling. Position #6 (high
torque) is appropriate for drilling.
1.
Insert drill or screw bit in chuck (15) and secure.
2.
Press the Forward/Reverse Switch (13) to correct position for the current job.
Right position: drill or fasten (clockwise).
Left position: removing fasteners or freeing bits (counter-clockwise).
Center: trigger switch locked.

Set the Variable Speed Switch (11) for the desired speed. Note:This Switch must be
pushed down first before sliding forward or back.
4.
Press (and hold) the Variable Speed Trigger (5) to turn drill On.
Avoid overloading the drill. Always use sharpened drill bits. Do apply excessive pressure
to the drill while drilling. If the drill speed drops abnormally, decrease pressure immediately.
If the bit stops abruptly, or the bit becomes stuck, release trigger switch at once.

Keep tools clean by wiping with a damp cloth.

Store tools in carrying case when not using.
3.
When the battery becomes weak, and the tool loses power, keep the tool turned On
until the battery is completely drained before recharging. This will ensure a full
recharge.
4.
Recharge battery periodically when not in use.
5.
Using a rag and light oil, wipe drill bits and other steel parts to keep them from rusting.
