How does the humidifier work?

1. A call for humidity comes from the humidity control
provided with the humidifier. The humidity control
is connected to the humidifier with wires.
2. The solenoid turns on, allowing water to run
through the humidifier pad.
3. Air from your HVAC system flows through the pad,
picking up moisture from the humidifier pad.
4. Your HVAC system fan delivers the humidified air
throughout your home.
5. When humidity in your home reaches the setpoint,
the humidity call ends and the solenoid turns off
the water flowing across the pad.
