Internet call settings
Dell Streak Pro GS01 supports Teletypewriter (TTY) mode. TTY mode
lets a user with speech or hearing disabilities have a phone
conversation by typing. To enable TTY mode:

• Accounts: Add SIP accounts to enable you to
make Internet calls.
NOTE:
You must have an existing SIP account
subscription to use this feature.
–Receive incoming calls: Check this box to enable
your phone to receive Internet calls.
To add an account:
Touch the Add account button.

Select Username, and then type the username of

your SIP account.
Touch OK.

Select Password, and then type desired

password.
Touch OK.

Select Server, and then type the server address of

your SIP account.
Select Set as primary account if you want to use

the SIP account to make outgoing calls.
Select Optional settings to configure other

settings such as Authentication username,
Display name, Outgoing proxy address, Port
number, Transport type, and Send keep-alive.
→ Save to save the account.

• Use Internet calling: Select how you want to use
the SIP account to make calls. The available
options are:
–For all calls when data network is available:
Uses the SIP account to make all outgoing calls
when a data network is available.
–Only for Internet calls: Uses the SIP account to
make outgoing Internet calls only.
–Ask for each call: Whenever you make an
outgoing call, the phone prompts you to select
how you want to make the call.
