Filling the rinse-aid container
A rinse-aid is necessary so that
no water-spots remain on dishware
after washing.
Use only rinse-aid intended for
household dishwashers.
Turn lid of the rinse-aid reservoir
(Fig. 0/24) to open.
Pour in rinse aid until the level indicator
(Figure 8/25) has turned from clear to
completely dark. The clear/dark surface
indicates the level of rinse-aid in the
dispenser.
Remember to screw lid tightly on
afterwards.
With each washing, the correct amount
of rinse-aid will be dispensed.
Low rinse-aid indicator

When the low rinse-aid indicator appears
bright, the rinse-aid must be replenished.
If it is dark, there is enough rinse-aid on
hand.

Dispenser regulator

The dispenser regulator may be set
between 1 and 6. Upon delivery,
it will be set on 3.
The setting should only be changed
if deposits or water spots remain
on the dishware.
- If lime streaks appear,
turn the regulator back.
- If water spots appear,
set the regulator on a higher number.

- First, remove large food particles.
- Arrange large or heavily soiled
articles in the lower rack,
and small, light or delicate articles
in the upper rack.
- Containers, such as cups, glasses,
pots, etc. should be placed
upside down.
- Arrange all items with recessed
or curved sections on a slant
to drain water away.
- Place tall, narrow recepticles
in the middle of the racks so they are
directly over the spray.
- Long-stemmed glasses should lean
against the rack, not against dishware.

- Place cutlery unsorted into cutlery
compartments
- Long cutlery, such as ladles,
long knives, etc. should be laid
horizontally across the filled
cutlery compartment. (Fig.

Unsuitable dishware
Cutlery with wooden or bone handles
are unsuitable. So are parts joined
by adhesive, and plastic, copper or tin items
which cannot resist hot water.
As with hand-washing, some·"on-glaze"
decorated china, aluminium, "or silver
have a tendency to discolour or fade.
Also, some types of glassware (crystal)
can become opaque after many washings.
Recommendation:
In the future, buy only items
which are guaranteed suitable
for dishwashers.
What you should not put into
the dishwasher:
Dishes or cutlery soiled by tobacco ash,
candle wax (or similar), paint etc.
