Problem: Water tank has developed algae.
Cause: Water left too long in tank, or unit was placed in direct sunlight.
Solution: Rinse and fkush the unit regularly to keep the contents fresh. Keep the Waterfall
away from direct sunlight. If algae develops, drain and clean both tanks using water and a
mild detergent. Do not scrub. Rinse both tanks thoroughly and reassemble.
Problem: Mineral stones have developed algae or growth.
Cause: Water left too long in tank, or unit was placed in direct sunlight.
Solution: Rinse and flush the unit regularly to keep the contents fresh. Keep the Waterfall
away from direct sunlight. If algae develops on stones, remove these, run under cold water
and wipe clean. Rinse thoroughly. Replace mineral stones with new ones regularly, at least
once per year.
