Low battery

Condition/Cause
Flashes on the
LCD screen
when pulse is
detected during
measurement.
Appears when the
batteries life is
extremely low.
Appears when an
accurate blood
pressure could not
be obtained.

Corrective action
Measurements in
progress. Do not
move or talk.
Replace all four
batteries with new
ones. Insert the
batteries in correct
polarities.
Press "START/
STOP" button
again and
re-measure.
Check that the
cuff is wrapped
properly around
the arm as in the
instructions.
Check for kinks in
the air tube.
Do not talk or
move during the
measurement.
Check if your
posture is correct.
